    Dr. BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR, A GENIUS AND A NATIONALIST - A HUMBLE TRIBUTE Humble Salute to the greatest humanist, the Architect of Indian Constitution, an economist par excellence, the epitome of equity, an eternal flag- bearer of fraternity and arguably one of the greatest geniuses to walk the earth-Dr Babasaheb Ramji  Ambedkar on his 131st birth anniversary today. 2.        Babasaheb, himself a victim of social injustice in his childhood, rose above everything and educated himself in its truest sense to fight against such prevailing evil and drew the road map which is universally known as “ Indian Constitution”-a document so unique and based on equity and justice for all. All his life he fought against injustice and oppression caused to the downtrodden with a singular view to bring them to the main stream. Jyotirao Govindrao Phule, popularly called Jyotiba Phule, was born on  11th April 1827 nearly 196 years ago. He breathed his last on 29th of November 1890. Born to a ordinary vegetable vendor, the boy grew up and got educated at Scottish  Missions School, poona. Living in a society, then, torn and stricken by caste based dogmas, Jyotiba fought all his life for equality as he believed God made all equal-he believed that a man, who cannot choose his parents, cannot be discriminated against based on his color, caste or creed. A great thinker that he was, he in those times, thought of women's education in India for he believed a society where women are liberalised can break free from all shackles and thereby progress.
